This layout is for Wedding Wednesday, a series of videos I am doing each Wednesday where I create (surprise!) a wedding layout. This week the challenge was to use a sketch – more specifically, this sketch from Life.Paper.Scrapbook:
I admit that I am not very good at interpreting sketches. I think it is something that I am slowly getting better at the more I do it. What do you think?
Here is the process of this layout!
Don’t forget to subscribe to my youtube channel if you haven’t already
I really love the way this one has turned out! I don’t know how but it came together in the end, and I really wasn’t looking at the sketch so much – even though the end there is a lot of elements from the sketch in there.
I really want to continue to push myself with my scrapbooking. With scrapbooking, as with in life, if I am ‘comfortable’ then perhaps I need to push myself more. So I want to keep trying new things, keep experimenting, and exposing myself to new things. I want to keep on getting better.
Oh, in the video you will see that I have large pink sleeves on. This morning I got into my exercise gear to make sure that I actually do some today but then I got a bit cold so I put on some trackies, my dressing gown, and socks over the top. Then, when I went outside to take photos of my layout, I put on my husband’s thongs (not those thongs, that is what we call flip flops in Australia) so that I didn’t get my socks dirty. I snapped this photo of my dagginess in all it’s glory! This blog may become a fashion blog yet!
